I'm not from Halifax, I;m originally from Northampton so to find a good mechanic can be a real issue as you have to just roll the dice and try your luck. All I will say is that there has been severasl times when shay motors could have told me i n eeded a new part when all it needed was a clean, their honesty is second to none and I have no complaints about the quality of their work. perfect, I have taken both my cars there for MOT;s and regular repair work, cant fault them.

Very helpful and friendly, booked me in straight away when i had an emergency, gave advise about other things that needed attention, and sorted it quickly, not charging over the odds either time, took it for its MOT and, again, were very efficient and helpful, again, price was very reasonable, have recommended them on to friends and will deffinately go back. Very happy with them!

My clutch went on the way home from work amd i just about managed to get it to shay motors, which is not my regular garage. Steve was brilliant and lent me his car to get home in and to take my lads to their cricket game that evening. Our car was repaired by the day after has said and we have since had endless bother with another problem with our car which the staff have being endlessly working with. The staff are always willing and very helpful and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. A massive thank you to all

My first dealings with this garage was 2 or 3 years ago, the week before christmas. As I was passing the garage my car was playing up and I called in the garage to ask if they could help me, which they did immediately. They didn't charge me much even though I had never been to this garage before. I have used this garage since for M.O.T. and repairs and I have nothing but praise for the garage and staff.
